Read that there is some news about the government giving money to people that were in these bad loans and had trouble with them. I was ripped off by my mortgage company and want to know if there is any money from this recent government decision.

My husband who is now not employed but I am. My husband is the only person on existing loan. Can we modify the loan using my income even though I am not on the loan and doubt I would be able to get a new loan and think working with our bank is opnly option.

I have to have atleast 700 and no issues with score and want to get a 30 year fixed loan. No surprises on my report and I want to buy a house, owned a home with my ex wife 5 years ago and have a great job and enough income. My question what is the least I need to put down and what is my rate for a $250,000 house purchase.
