Modification of home loan

My husband who is now not employed but I am. My husband is the only person on existing loan. Can we modify the loan using my income even though I am not on the loan and doubt I would be able to get a new loan and think working with our bank is opnly option.

    Your lender will likely conduct a financial review of your household income and use this to determine if you qualify for modification (will you have enough income to pay back).

    A determination will be made after you have enough income. In our experience we see many lenders authorizing this. Best of luck and remember to stay organized and on top of your lender through this process.
