Modifying my loan

Asked by: 367 views Modification/ Foreclosure

It has been about a year of going back and fourth with ASC about our loans and modifying it. They have been impossible and have not settled anything, we pay about $900 (used to be $1280) but they will not offer any terms and keep taking this amount. What can I do? Is this common? please help

It is always advised to seek a lawyer qualified with loan modification and particularly experience dealing with the specific lender that you have. Unfortunately you may have to also pay the $380 monthly difference back. Of course new loan terms, amount, interest rate are all up for discussion. We would advise getting a qualified individual to look more in depth at your situation and make sure you are never in jeopardy of a foreclosure situation. With no loan modification in place, technically you are subject to possible foreclosure actions.
